Hello everyone,

Although it is ot long since my last newsletter I wanted to remind you of these workshops....and this exhibition.

This wonderful exhibition is in April so I am letting you know so you can mark a visit in your diary.

Workshops

This workshop went very well yesterday. 

THE BOOK IS THE ART

We did make an artists book in one day

SATURDAY 4TH MARCH

 

 

Five beautiful books were made.

 

There is still one or two places on April 6th for

EXPLORING CONCERTINA BOOKS

THURSDAY 6TH APRIL

 

In this workshop you will make a concert book with a hard cover. You will also learn how to make a slip case in which to keep your book. Each section will have an origami envelope to house your models of other concertina book styles which we will explore during the day. At the end of the class you will know how to make at least 5 different concertina books.

What else have I been doing?

Gail Stiffe suggested that I enter the Deakin University Small Sculpture Exhibition so I rose to the challenge with a spiral.  

As yet incomplete.  I will let you know if it is accepted.  

  

 More reports after my trip to Halls Gap with my sister.
