Firstly, here are my 2 new workshops for you to consider.
THE BOOK IS THE ART
Make an artists book in one day
SATURDAY 4TH MARCH
No white paper will be visible at the end of the morning's exploration of paper and its surface possibilities. You will use natural coloured dyes and washes over resists, stitch and printing to decorate your book pages in preparation for binding them. Each person will make a simple print block inspired by seed pods to use in their book and perhaps share with others.
The creative supportive environment will nourish your ideas and embolden your creative spirit and at the end of the day you will have a colourful artists book with a soft but strong cover.

EXPLORING CONCERTINA BOOKS
THURSDAY 6TH APRIL
In this workshop you will make a concert book with a hard cover. You will also learn how to make a slip case in which to keep your book. Each section will have an origami envelope to house your models of other concertina book styles which we will explore during the day. At the end of the class you will know how to make at least 5 different concertina books.

Prepartions for the Papermakers of Victoria exhibition in April have been keeping me occupied.
Also, I am off to GrampiansTexture again in March to attend a 6 day workshop with Sandy Webster. I am looking forward to it very much. Perhaps some new workshops will follow.
And as usual I am making paper of course and tearing up some of it to decorate my cards.
Some paper was used to make my friends Solstice Journal for her Birthday.
And did I tell you my book "Valleys of the Mind" has been posted to WA to be included in an exhibition called BETWEEN THE SHEETS in Perth ?
